Mountain of toys...soft ones..

Well, this is Son and Daughter's collection of soft toys... now supposed to be lil one's but occasionally the big bro still claims some as his...

I consider them mementos cos these are from friends and family who remembered my kids. So they are all special. And they come from all over. I bet if they can talk, each one will have a story to tell.

Barrels' papa is on the bottom left..see the semblance. His mummy is somewhere in the pile. The humongous fella was bro's gift to his sis from his last SU camp. The little red guy (Clifford) up there used to hang around a lot with Barrels. It' been a while since all of them came down to play.... partly because lil one does not have much time since she started Std One. Plus, she has taken a great liking for reading, which seems to take up most of her time, including meal and toilet times. 8)

On the bottom right is Baby Jack, cute one....friend got it from Malacca for Daughter a couple of years ago while we were in Malacca for our games. The small little mountie at the top was given to Daughter when a church friend went Canada. Each one carries with it a memory....priceless because they are gifts from the heart. My kids are blessed.... 8)

Today's Bento (10). This is the second time this week I did rice. Today's nasi lemak. Chicken is roasted, flavoured with teriyaki sauce. I cheated a bit. Was at the mamak restaurant buying supper for kids yesterday night and I got the mutton kurma to go along. Egg is supposed to be star shape but it was too small for the mould....so it came out a bit 'cacat'.

The photographer punya eye for detail not fully trained yet. Either that or he is also still groggy from his sleep. Forgot to open the container cap for the photo session. Ha! Ha!

Other half's breakfast. Left it on the table so that he can take his time to eat it after sending Son to school. Today, as always when I prepare food that is rice-based, it's a slight rush. Everyone left home slightly later also as a result!
