Politics is still hot in Malaysia...

Two weeks post election and looks like Malaysian politics is still hot. Haven't seen much action but lots of rumours going around about possible defections....KJ not making it to the cabinet because he says his condition is as long as f-i-l remains PM, he won't. At 32 and some more 1st timer MP, thought there's supposed to be a waiting list. And we won't be seeing Rafidah in the cabinet any more too. Gone is our own version of iron lady. But Mob's Crib has another view.

So what has changed...I've started subscribing to Malaysiakini - it has become a force to be reckoned with. And tonight's breaking news is the resignation of Serian SUPP MP from the party...and some of the party members. Seems he has shown some interest in joining PKR. But this has been denied by George Chan who says he is still BN rep. Is this the beginning of an avalanche??? Winds of change not done with the changing??

New political secretary for the Selangor MB is Nik Nazmi. I have followed this young man's blog for more than a year. Reckon he is a young man to watch out for. An idealistic young man. Hopes he stays that way.
