This morning she asked me to remind him to bring the 'present' home. She was so excited when the papa came back for lunch and immediately asked for it. So when the father gave her the notebooks, her face fell. Papa was surprised why she was crestfallen ....
Then she asked, "Where is the notebook you said?"
The Papa replied, "There, these are the notebooks."
She answered, "But you said the notebooks...the computer notebooks."
Then it dawned on us....notebooks to this gen of kids refer to a totally different thing..... now, is this generation gap or not? She thought her papa was going to give her a laptop computer. LOL!!!

i think mebbe sud hv refered to notebook as a notepad??? avoid confusion!
next time must say... paper notebook. I think many kids today are so used to notebooks that they think nothing else when the word notebook is mentioned... both of us had a good laugh over it..8)
LOL... u mean Little Princess didn't force her Papa to go out RIGHT NOW and buy her a laptop meh?
