Insights from our college kids

This is from a bunch of Malaysian college kids...

Question: If new subjects are to be introduced to make college kids more marketable, what should be the criteria?
Answer: Interesting subjects. An interesting subject will be the internet. Got moving pictures, got colours and got You Tube. Interesting subjects must be subjects which are fun, make those who take it happy and don't need to read. Then those who take such subjects will be more competitive and marketable.

Reading is not interesting?? Seems like as long as you feel it is fun, make you happy..that will be more important.

Another question: What kind of courses should be introduced in universities?
Answer: Courses that are useful. Engineering, medicine.... knowledge not important, just need the degree only cos after we graduate, need money to live, support family. Degree will make sure of that.

So much for our Malaysian young.... got degree can already. Knowledge not important. Wah! So if you are studying to be a doctor, how to be a doctor if you have no medical knowledge, or bedside manners knowledge....those stuff not knowledge???

Like that....Aiya! Just go to the interesting subject called Internet and buy yourself a degree which does not need knowledge. Got a lot in the internet....

College??? What college??? Such is the state of mind of a big majority of our young in Malaysia now.
