Malaysia in ICU???

Is this country of mine sick??? You tell me....

1. We have an independent post mortem conducted on Kugan and the result was - kidney failure due to excessive beating while under the 'care' of the cops.
   
2. We had a State Assembly convene under a tree in Perak cos the cops sealed the State Assembly Building. Use of brawn to impose a will.... Everyone looking ridiculous now...
   
3. We have a learned royalty who is supposed to be fair, yet many question the wisdom of his action.
   
4. We have an acquittal of a highly controversial murder case which many think there are more than what meets the eyes.
   
5. We have judges who pass judgment without reasons being given.... whatever has happened to the doctrine of separation - the judiciary, executive and legislative; the doctrine seems pretty messed up.
   
6. We have politicians who tell us... "Look at the service record when it's on everyone's mind that she has been bought"..... and also the rest of the froggies too..
   
7. We have a PM-in-waiting whose credibility and integrity many people wonder about.
8. We have a Federal Government trying to stop the takeover of the water management by a state gahmen, even though the move is good for the rakyat.
9. We have a health crisis in Sabah because the authorities closed down sections of QE Hospital 6 months ago.... there seems to be no urgency to get the OT running again. Patients are sent to privately owned SMC which is making huge profit out of it.
   
10. We have tolls which seems to be going up, when many actually should have been abolished.
11. We have an economic crisis in our hands with more people losing their jobs every day, but our politicians are throwing money everywhere to buy people's hearts and not throwing their efforts into reviving the economy...
    
12. We have people staring at the possibilities of incarceration without trial for speaking out...
    
13. We have cops firing water canons on people demonstrating peacefully for an answer to what they think is wrong with the nation.
14. And to top it all, we have leaders who feel that the nation owe it to them.... they are appointed to 'save' us. It doesn't matter that in 'saving' us the nation's health and wealth are plundered.
    
15. We have the ACA, MACC being super efficient in small cases that sometimes smack political vendettas, yet being super slow in cases which might open big cans of worms.
    
16. And the resurrection of the ghost of a person not quite dead yet, resurrected because of the 'democracy-under-the-raintree' thingy... I pity him... he must be tossing and turning a lot in his sleep. People seem to have forgotten.... he is still alive!
    

So, tell me... is this land of ours sick or not? Beep.....beep-beep...beep....beep.................
PR or BN?? It won't matter much if it's the path of self-destruction they bring us down. Tis so sad, cos this land holds so much promise. If Zimbabwe can regress from a model country to a pariah state, what makes us think that we might not go the same way?
