Of light box and macro photography..

Other half was trying to make a lightbox for taking pictures of small objects close up with an uncluttered background.

The box after having its three sides cut out. The lil one, as always ever willing to be part of the project. Then both father and daughter glued white paper onto the whole box, including the interior of the box. Commercial light boxes can cost a bomb. Alternately one can also build a light box from hardier material like plastic or wood. This is our first attempt. Cost us less than RM5.

After they were done, Barrels and Slinky became the first subjects to be photographed in the box...since he's small enough. What's the purpose of this lightbox??? Well, it's supposed to show the details of the object photographed more clearly. Does Barrels look better here? 8) Lil one says yeah!
