Photo session.... 8) Was trying to find out whether there is a time frame for dusk but no. Dusk is generally defined as the time immediately after sunset or the darker stage of twilight. So I guess any shots that I take as the sky darkens in the evening will qualify. The shots are taken either by me, other half or son between 6.30 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.
It's end of the year and being slightly north to the Equator means the sky gets darker earlier now. Funny how I never learned it properly when I was schooling. Only got it crystal clear when I was teaching my son and co Geography when they were in Form 1...the solstices and equinoxes.
This was taken at 6.30 p.m. Sky was a gentle gold...very warm and beautiful.
After dinner an hour later, it had turned all fiery....as though it was burning up. Very angry dusk!
From the same vicinity but a different spot at about 8.00 p.m the day before....it was all kinda blue...quite calming. The changing colours of the sky...same time, same place but different shades and hues. Same like us people, huh? Same person but different moods... sky color and people's moods...they have great similarities... red sky for impending doom and disaster or anger; blue sky associated with calming thoughts.
By the way, I've just realized that blue is usually the corporate colour. Enforcement units wear uniforms in shades of blue too..usually darker. Imagine police in red uniform trying to calm an angry crowd....the colour will probably drive the crowd even nuttier! LOL!
A blog about everything that interests me...family, friends, interests, country, world..
