It's PH (Raya Haji) today....and Other Half decided to take a day off from work too. Didn't go anywhere this time. Planned to go for a picnic but that didn't materialize as some could not make it. Add that to the wet spell that we're in now....we finally settled on a pot bless. So, we got a few families together and everyone brought something.
Then we gathered at Ah Ho's place...where else but her warm and inviting home. We're blessed to have friends like her. God bless her home. We had mee suah in plain soup, roast chicken, roast duck, cabbage soup in some stuff which I don't know their names, potato wedges, salad, pies, cakes, sparkling juice for the kids, Kahlua, Old Bailey and some other wine for the adults.Me? I stuck on to sparkling juice.
Siow pau which have been picked out cos they don't look good enough for tomorrow....but they're still good enough for our stomachs..... LOL!
Table talk has been upgraded. LOL! We talked about Facebook.... Andy and Son have been playing Word Twist, challenging each other online. So has Siva. Times have changed! 8) That is apart from other crazy conversations amidst food and more food! Had lots of laugh. It was fun to just sit down together and have home cooked food in a homely environment.
After dinner, we practiced our Christmas carols a bit. I'll be playing my guitar with Aaron for tomorrow's visit to the orphanage. Been a long time since I played the guitar....
A blog about everything that interests me...family, friends, interests, country, world..
